Guards2K software system is designed to provide a reliable and accurate log of watch officer activity while reducing paperwork and book keeping demands on the watch stander.
The basic system consists of an intelligent data collector, downloader, watch officer I.D. codes, exception report codes and tour location codes. These components interact with the Guard Tour Tracking software to monitor and report on watch stander activity at one or more locations.
System codes can be provided by simple, inexpensive bar code labels or with the rugged, tamper proof Touch Memory buttons from Dallas Semiconductor. The same Guards2K software will work with either (or both) technologies!
